Q? Can I leave my car at your site when I collect a vehicle?

Yes. You can leave your vehicle (at your own risk) at all branches.

Q? Can I drop a vehicle off `out of hours`?

Yes. All branches have 'out of hours' return facilities which we will go through with you on collection.

Q? I see your office opening hours are rather short, why is this?

Our normal hire period is `Morning to Morning` (09.00am - 08.30am) but you have the option of returning a vehicle at any time 24/7. You can also contact us by phone or email at any time and also book via the website 24/7.

Q? Can I hire `afternoon to afternoon` rather than `morning to morning`?

Although possible this would normally be a 2 day hire as we would be unable to hire the vehicle for 2 days. Our normal hire period is morning collection and to be returned anytime before 8.30am the following day.

Q? Is there a Mileage limit?

We operate a 300 miles per day or 1000 miles per week fair use policy, we reserve the right to charge additional mileage charges above this amount - please call us for more information.

Q? Can I take a vehicle to Europe?

Yes. However, please contact us beforehand so that we can insure the vehicle for EU Travel and add EU Breakdown cover. We also provide everything you will need such as Warning Triangles, Flo Vests and Breathalyzer Kits. We do reserve the right to decline high mileage or high risk bookings. Please call us for more information.

Q? Can I drive any vehicle on a normal driving licence?

Yes all of our vehicles can be hired on a normal driving licence (held for 24 months) with the exception of the 7.5t Truck which would need the category C1 licence (and over 25 years old only)
Minimum age of 21 years for cars and vans (higher excess applies below 25 years)
Minimum age of 25 years for people carriers and Trucks.
Maximum age on all vehicles is 75 years.

Q? Do you offer Long Term Contract Hire?

Yes. We have great rates on 6/12 month contract hire - if we do not have the correct vehicle for you we are happy to try and source a vehicle for you.

Q? What happens if the hire vehicle breaks down?

Very unlikely, but all vehicles come with full Breakdown Cover including recovery.

Q? Can I add another driver to the hire?

Yes. You are able to add additional drivers but each driver would need to bring along the relevant ID and paperwork. We charge an extra £6 per day for each additional driver.

Q? Can I collect from one branch and return to another?

This may be possible, but would need to be agreed prior to dropping off.

Q? When will I expect to receive the deposit refund?

All vehicles are checked over and cleaned on return the following morning, as long as there is no damage and the fuel level is correct a full refund is then made to your card. This is usually instant but can in some rare cases take 1-3 working days..

Q? Are you open Bank Holidays?

Yes. We usually allow collections on Bank Holidays, however, please call us to check our opening hours..

Q? What paperwork do I need to hire a vehicle?

Please bring along your driving licence card, proof of address and either a DVLA Check Code or NI number.

Q? How do I generate a drivers check code?

Please visit https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence you will need your driving licence number, NI number and the postcode on your driving licence.

Q? Do you deliver and collect vehicles?

Sorry we cannot provide delivery/collection at present.

Q? Will I be charged if I`m late dropping the vehicle back?

Yes you will be charged another day hire - especially if the vehicle is booked to go out on hire again. Please call us if you are delayed though and we will do all that we can to help.
